About / UI/UX designer & creative maker

Thoughtful interfaces.
A hands-on practice.

Hello, I’m Ajay.

I’m Ajay Prakashan, a UI/UX designer working across product and web design, with approximately 1.5 years of design experience, including my work as a Digital Experience Designer at Innogenio. My background in computer applications connects the visual side of design with the structure and logic underneath it.

At Innogenio, I worked across web design, product operations, design documentation and handoffs. I also helped organize design assets and project information, so the work could move clearly between designers, developers and content teams.

I enjoy making complex interfaces easier to follow: deciding what needs attention, how a task should flow and how the screen can communicate the next step. Frontend prototyping lets me test those decisions through working interactions.

Beyond interfaces, I use prompt engineering, scriptwriting and storyboarding to develop AI-assisted images, product videos and motion studies. That practice gives me another way to work with hierarchy, timing and storytelling.

Based in Kollam, Kerala, India, with connections to Bengaluru. I’m open to remote roles, international collaboration, freelance and contract projects, and relocation.

Practice

Thinking and making.

Product & interface design

Information architecture, task flows and interface systems for complex operational work.

Figma / UI design / Workflow design

Frontend prototyping

Working interactions that make navigation, states and product decisions tangible.

HTML / CSS / JavaScript / Responsive UI

Technical thinking

Structured data, clear documentation and automation that connect design with implementation.

Python / SQL / Git / Node.js

Video editing & motion

Product films, UGC-style scenes, character animation and social-format edits. My toolkit includes Filmora, Adobe After Effects (Beginner), Adobe Express and Canva, alongside Figma for interface work.

Tools in practice

Professional tools & skills

A practical toolkit across design, creative production and development. These are tools and technologies I work with, with AI supporting exploration and implementation.

01

Design & Motion

Interface design, visual exploration, video editing and motion studies.

02

AI & Creative Workflows

Prompt engineering, concept development, scriptwriting, storyboarding, AI image generation and AI video generation.

03

AI-Assisted Development & IDEs

AI-assisted coding, frontend prototyping, debugging and implementation workflows.

04

Programming & Web Technologies

Technologies I work with across web interfaces, prototypes, scripts and data tasks.

How I use them

  1. Frame the idea

Develop concepts, explore content directions and shape scripts. I use structured prompts to make the brief, references and constraints clear.

  2. Build and explore

Use AI-assisted coding for prototypes and development, and image generation to explore visual directions. I review and refine the output as part of the design process.

  3. Direct the sequence

Move from a script to storyboards, then explore AI-generated video, cinematic framing and motion. Editing brings the selected material into a coherent sequence.
